all excited about the 700 free comics promotion...I suppose to get people interested in digital media..I down load the app and it keeps giving me a connection error...so I delete it and down load the app again....this time it lets me successfully set up an account....but when ever I try to download one of the "free" comics it gives me a download error...This app is total crap....good luck with you...    2 months ago

A quick pro tip to marketing: be sure to coordinate and notify IT when you are planning any huge promotion.Had been unable to first create an account due to endless unexpected server errors. When I was finally able to create an account, after 3 hours of trying I might add, I cannot sign into the account as the app says I have an invalid user name and/or password.SMASH!!!    2 months ago

After creating an account with Marvel and inputting several "Free Digital Downloads" from my print version copies, I am now unable to sign in to my account using this app. I cannot find my comics anywhere.Queries to "Customer Service" remain unanswered.Completely useless.    2 months ago

$60 subscription is useless. Can browse and search titles but any attempt to read, either offline or online results in a blank screen. It may work on some platforms, but my iPad.    2 months ago

Most comics don''t load properly, pages are missing,... This app is riddled with bugs. I have to download each comic into my library (with a maximum of 6, it doesn''t go far...) in order to read them... I contacted Marvel twice and haven''t yet received a response! I was totally excited for this app and bought into the $60 a year plan. First, I want to explain my rating. Prior to the download issues, I would have given a 5 out of 5 stars. Due to the download issue, I''ve revised it to 3 out of 5. My comic books downloaded with no problem after the new update. However, when Marvel released a ton of their comics for free, I noticed a significant decline in my ability to download comics. Really great and cinematic way of reading comics. Love the comics, love getting access on my iPad, but the app needs some serious work. It pales in comparison to the ones from Marvel, DC and IDW, which are all based on Comixology. I love to read Dark Horse titles like Hellboy and BPRD, but this app is terrible when it comes to downloading and readability. Frequent freezes and crashes take away from the utility of this app.    2 months ago

Reading comics with this app is fine and, assuming you purchase your comics from Dark Horse Comics'' website, you won''t have any problems. Trying to buy a comic within the app is a completely different story though. The store is _incredibly_ slow to load and navigate and the entire app frequently locks up while data is being downloaded from the store. Great app but the latest version seems to have a bug with the favorite section.When you update it no longer shows notifications of new manga unless you click through each manga separately.As you can imagine this can be slow if you have a lot of manga in your collection.Fix this and it will be a 5 star app again.    1 month ago

I couldn''t find the free issue. The interface is not easy to navigate. It''s too much trouble to find what I wanted (which I didn''t find). Not a well-designed app at all. Wanted to try the first issue, before buying more and am glad I did. It was downloading very slowly, then had an ''error'' and stopped.Troubleshooted 36MB/s WiFi at home, can simultaneously stream HD to 2-3 devices (no need to try more), and no issues on that end.
