Slow and Crude

Quite heavy on network resources.Personally I feel it''s trying too hard on quality and not providing much in the way of smoothness. More for show than practicality.All in all the team seem to be working hard with Windows 8 support. 2 months ago

Tried it with a new Mac mini and iPad 1. The performance was unacceptably slow, and a Terminal window with a blinking cursor caused nearby parts of the iPad display to blink (in sympathy, I guess). 3 months ago

I had significant difficulty connecting my windows 7 PC to my iPad. I had to turn off my antivirus program and then enter the iPad IP address into the Air Display utility manually to achieve a connection. Upon connecting, the Air Display program reduced my PC color scheme to "basic" which looks bad on the PC. Also, the connection is somewhat laggy and things displayed on the iPad were so small as ... 2 months ago

Problematic

After following all the instructions, the troubleshooting advice, installing, desinstalling, trashing,reinstalling on my iPhone and 2 iPads, resetting my network preferences, getting into my router settings, etc... It still doesn''t work on any of my mobile devices. I spent $14 and several hours on this. Nothing should be this hard in 2013! 4 months ago

This App looked promising especially the interface, for me the App fails to connect to the host even locally,even when i attempt to cancel the failed connection it locks up. i love the fact that any device connected to my account gets listed in one place but i never had any of these problems with Screens, plus screens is a One off Fee (Not a subscription) will try again in a few weeks. 4 months ago

This useful app turned the iPad into what I bought it for - an extension of my desktop. Effortlessly syncs files between windows 7 and iPad, keeping folder hierarchy. I love being able to copy files to and from a lot of different computers, including my website. Plus, I can have files open in different apps, although it would be nice to have videos have the option to Open In the native iOS Videos app.Also, it would be nice to be able to bookmark remote folders when logged into a machine. While it is good that this app gives you access to printer options in its non-AirPrint printing mode, it doesn''t offer you ''resize to print'' for picture files. I hope this can be added in future. 7 months ago

Update Problems

I''ve used this program for the last 3 years to read PDF and other formats on my Iphone and Ipod Touch. I use it on average about 20 min a day.The most recent update has wrecked it for use as a reader. The side-by-side page format means I can''t just scroll down as I used to. After the last update, it''s a shadow of its former self.Errors when trying to copy folders from Mac to iOS, seems to only want to deal with individual documents, not folders as it once did.iTunes app filesharing will only copy files to the top-most level of the AirSharing''s root storage, and again only copies docs, not folders. The latest update says it has disabled file transfer from remote servers due to possible data loss. That''s the MOST useful and important feature for me. Without that ability, you can keep what WAS a GREAT app! I will NOT be upgrading until that functionality is restored. 1 year ago

Waste of Time

Waste of money if you have windows. Should have a disclaimer saying that it does it does not work with windows. After you buy it, the first help screen tells you, but they already have your $3.00 by then. 2 years ago
