This is a very simple to use, and easy to use app. The pronunciation is good and you can play it several times to get the pronunciation straight.. I would definitely recommend obtaining this for your basics. Would like to see the Russian spelling in order to help you. All in all a great app!    3 months ago

Other reviewers are complaining about a non-problem that''s actually a learning aid: This app "speaks" rapidly, yes, but it also displays the spoken phrase above in text so the student can see what is being said. The student can begin saying the written phrase sloowly by reading the words until she can say it quickly (which is how French is spoken). It does speak a little too fast, and it would be helpful to read the translation. But my big note on this app is that some sound clips are attached to the wrong translations. The ones I noticed the most were "au revoir" being said when I pushed "that''s great" and "c''est super" being said when I pushed "bye". Other than that, it''s an ok app    3 years ago
