I have worked with the product for 6 months tryng to get it to work properly. Support is great. That said, there is nothing i can do in Tap Forms that I can not do in a spreadsheet. There are some shortcomings I can not overlook.*Sort by a numeric value does not work*Sync is not automatic and flakey*Linked records is very weakThis app could be great. It just is not.
TapForms is an amazing database app. Everything about it is great – the interface, its capabilities, its import/export, and the responsiveness of the developer. The latest update with saved filter searches plugs the one major remaining gap. I can’t praise this app enough. Well thought out and excellent execution.
This is an incredibly flexible database, full featured yet friendly. It can replace a half dozen other apps. Bravo.
You have to dig a bit to discover all the tools but once you do, this is an extremely useful app. You can create great forms, export/import data, and share databases on the cloud. It''s powerful, and as such you''ll have to be the one who creates and set up sharing: forms customization is not for Grandma or Uncle Bob. But that''s a small price to pay for its usefulness.
TapForms can be encrypted. For that reason I transfer files there that I''ve created with TurboScan. A TurboScan feature facilitates this. Trouble is, whether due to encryption or not, the text documents lodged in TapForms has much less crisp than produced by And retained in TurboScan. TapForms is great, BUT, most regrettably, it''s not at all a great document archive.
